"I've used it for four years and I'm Very Happy with Commercial Free TV"
I combined it with multiple Haupage USB Tuners and I can record 2 HD 1080P channels at once and record or watch a third channel at the same time in 480P. This is because I don't have three HD inputs.
I hardly ever see commercials because the technology is that good. I love being able to replay special music presentations or live performances. The software works. I've enjoyed this product and there is only the one time fee. The add-ons for the remote and the ability to watch the programs on the home network is great. Beyond TV Link is an add-on that allows any other PC's that have access to your local network to watch any of the programs. You can control users(children) access by content if you like.
We bought Laptops with High End Video cards with HDMI out and connect to the local network wireless and use BTV Link, and connect the HDMI cable to a large screen LCD TV. Watch 10 different programs in
10 different rooms at the same time or more if you have the TV's.
- TV the way it was meant to be. You decide what shows or series you want and it does the rest. What's not to like when you can watch pretty much commercial free. It is fun to be able to skip over stories on the news or fast forward or stop watching and come back to the same place you stopped a week ago and it remembers each user's place in all the shows they've watched.
- Sometimes the quality of the broadcast or changes to commercials allows a few commercials to slip through, however you just move the pointer through the commercial.
